Film Documents Odorous Gases In The White House
June 21, 2006 Tennessee - Al Gore today released his second environmental film this year. The new film, entitled “The Gaseous State of The White House”, is a sequel to his first film called “An Inconvenient Truth”.
Gore’s latest movie documents a five year environmental study of the odorous gases in the White House since George W. Bush took office. While the movie stops short of specific conclusions on the exact nature of the odorous gases coming from the White House, it does outline a bunch of things that stink.
Gore’s sequel specifically points to an energy policy written by oil executives, a constant pattern of deceit and abuse of power, the need to build up threats that don’t exist to justify war, regular abuses of power cloaked in secrecy, and a pattern of disregard for constitutional rights, as being issues that stink the most.
The film goes on to document how bad it smells in the white house and how the occupants go around blaming the liberal media for the odorous gas. Critics of the movie point out that the obnoxious gases in the White House started when Bill Clinton was president and that 5 years is to short of a period of time to base any conclusions on.
President Bush declined a personal invitation extended by Al Gore to watch the movie.
