Bush administration reveals fuel conservation plan
Washington DC. Energy secretary Samuel W. Bodman today revealed highlights of the Bush administration’s fuel conservation plan. According to Bodman, the administration will now put gas powered lawn tractors and self propelled scooters at the forefront of their fuel conservation plan.

Bodman stated that president Bush feels strongly that the outstanding fuel mileage offered by lawn tractors alone could reduce American dependency on foreign oil by 25% in one year. The energy secretary stated “That lawn tractors get on the average around 150 miles per gallon and require little in the way of maintenance.”
Bodman also, suggested that Americans more rapidly adopt self propelled scooters as an alternative transportation method. Bodman indicated that these scooters popular with American youth, are excellent vehicles for doing errands such as running to the post office or the bank, and provide for excellent exercise at that same time.
As part of their new conservation plan, the Bush administration offered tax incentives of $20.00 dollars per household to those willing to adopt lawn tractors and self propelled scooters as transportation alternatives.
